Prince Louis adorably steals the show at Princess Catherine’s first public appearance since cancer diagnosis
|Prince Louis adorably stole the limelight at 2024’s Trooping The Colour with his funny faces and dance moves.
The Royal Family were all in attendance at the event, which was the first public appearance Kate, the Princess of Wales, had made since announcing she was undergoing cancer treatment.
The Princess, 42, was photographed in the back of a car alongside husband Prince William as they arrived at Buckingham Palace. She was then seen in a royal carriage dressed in an all-white ensemble, along with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
And while the world was excited toĀ see Catherine for the first time since she revealed her diagnosis, it was Louis that made sure all eyes were on him with his cheeky moves
As the family took to the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF flypast, Louis was clearly loving the tunes as he couldn’t resist a little wiggle.
His mother, clearly used to his fun antics, was seen smiling behind him as Louis got into the groove, as his big sister Charlotte looked on.
It wasn’t the only time Louis stole focus, as the six-year-old is no stranger to pulling faces, yawning, and wiping his nose during the event.

Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, nine, put on a more low-key appearance, being more used to their roles at public events, while Louis appears to be the wild one of the three.
It was the first time the children had been seen in public since Christmas, and Kate’s long-awaited return to public duty after revealing she was battling cancer.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children attended the 2024 Trooping the Colour – an annual event performed on Horse Guards Parade in London by regiments of Household Division. The ceremony is a celebration of the official birthday of the British sovereign, King Charles III.

Catherine received a large ovation from the waiting crowds that have been supporting her throughout her health battle.
The Princess had announced in March that she was undergoing treatment for an unspecified form of cancer, having had abdominal surgery earlier in the year.
Just a day before the event, Catherine had updated her followers to reveal she would be attending the Trooping The Colour, and shared how her treatment was going.

She said in the message,Ā which was originally shared to the official Kensington Royal social media channels: “I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months.
“It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.
“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.”
She added: “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.
“Iām looking forward to attending The Kingās Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.
“I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.
“Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me. C.”
