Tom Brady and 76-year-old actress Sally Field seem to have found each other, and now the legendary football star is responding to a set of wild romance rumors…

The potential end of the road for Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen doesn’t mean the end of matchmaking suggestions from those close to Brady. His former teammate Rob Gronkowski playfully threw actress Sally Fields into the mix as a potential match for the legendary quarterback.

Gronkowski, who retired from the NFL in 2021, pointed to Brady’s on-screen chemistry with the 76-year-old actress during a scene filmed for their upcoming sports comedy “80 For Brady.”

During a SiriusXM podcast appearance, Gronkowski teased Brady, asking, “Tom, have you been considering dating Sally Field after that Oscar-worthy performance or what?” Brady, in good spirits, acknowledged the on-camera connection, saying, “We did have kind of an on-camera little thing going on. So, it was actually nice. We really enjoyed our time together. So we’ll see where it goes from here.”

Gronkowski, ever witty, responded with, “Yeah, I know, I noticed that.” Not one to be outdone, Brady playfully brought up Gronkowski’s scene with Jane Fonda, saying, “You and Jane Fonda had a good scene too, which was a little… I thought that was really spicy.”

“80 For Brady,” produced by Brady’s 199 Productions, revolves around four best friends and Brady superfans traveling to Houston, Texas, to watch the New England Patriots face the Atlanta Falcons in the 2017 Super Bowl. The banter between Brady and Gronkowski adds a lighthearted touch to the ongoing speculations about Brady’s romantic future after his reported split from Gisele Bündchen.
